The Midlands3Cities DTP is setting a new benchmark for research candidate mentoring, training and support providing you with the key skills, languages and aptitudes necessary to deploy your knowledge purposefully. The key DTP aims are to:

 - recruit exceptional individuals with outstanding research potential
 - support students to produce world-leading research
 - enhance the student experience through new collaborations and mobility
 - enhance the employability and mobility of students through innovative training and placements
 - develop a coherent world-class, cohort-wide research environment
 - support the health of disciplines and encourage interdisciplinarity
 - promote innovation and responsiveness in arts and humanities research
 - capitalise upon our regional cultural infrastructure
 - enable and stimulate maximum engagement with end users of research
